Lana Shepherd
Director
Hello, I'm Lana L Shepherd. I am the director of Kennewick Christian School. I started this position in November 2023. I am a Native of Florida and moved to Washington thirty years ago. Me and my husband have three college-aged sons. Ever since I was young, I have had a love for teaching children. For nine years I was employed in the Richland School District as a ECAP Paraeducator. Here at Kennewick Christian School, we will try our best to help your child meet or exceed their milestones in education, while providing a safe and clean environment.

Hello my name is Anahi (ana-ee) Chavez Garcia, I am the Lead Preschool Teacher. I've lived in the Tri-Cities my whole life. I started here at KCS in Oct. of 2022 and made my way up to the lead position in Aug. of 2023. I'm going into my second year of teaching as I just graduated my first preschool class!!! I am bilingual and incorporating Spanish is something I am looking forward to this coming fall. My assistants and I strive to create a safe stimulating learning environment for all the kiddos! In my class we use Teaching Strategies and The Creative Curriculum. Your kiddos will learn their shapes, colors, numbers, life skills, social skills and more! Creating a routine is essential for healthy learning and we are determined to establish that for your child(ren). We're excited to see all the new faces this year. Welcome to KCS!!!

Hi there! My name is Adriene and I have been working at KCS for a few months now. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, son and dogs! I have a 5 year old son who is my entire world. We love playing games, being outdoors, and learning new things. I am grateful for our relationship with our Heavenly Father. My inspiration is my love for my son, he inspires me to be better at everything. My heroes are my parents; without them I wouldn't be who I am today. I love to laugh and have fun. I am so excited to work with the kiddos and be able to provide them nutritious meals!

My name is Haley. I am 26 years old. I have lived in Eastern WA, for about 8 years. I have worked with kids for about 6 years, I have always loved working with kids, and being able to be that positive change in their lives. I am the Assistant teacher in the Pre-K classroom, and I love being in that Classroom seeing the growth of each child and working with such amazing teachers!
